Job Description:

U.S. Pipe and Foundry is seeking an Electrical Intern. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting in the design, procurement, fabrication, and assembly of electronics components for fusion research applications.

This internship can lead to a full-time at will employment opportunity as US Pipe.

Essential Functions:

Participates in the completion of non-routine and advanced tasks.

Assists in applying scientific and engineering knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems.

Presents results of assigned projects.

Assists in developing electronic and hard copy models, drawings, reports, records, diagrams, and charts.

Analog and Digital circuit design responsibilities for both New Product Development and “same-as-except" products.

Complete design documentation.

Support technicians in engineering development activities.

Comprehensive documentation responsibility for all electrical designs including wiring. diagrams/schematics, bill of materials, and design changes, test reports, design validation plan and report.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Other Requirements:

Must be entering junior or senior year pursuing bachelor’s degree with a major in Electrical Engineering.

Engineering, Physics or related major preferred.

Familiar with schematic capture using industry standard software such as Altium or similar.

The ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately.
