Operating from Pier 83 in Hudson River Park at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue, (convenient to Times Square, The High Line and Hudson Yards) and Slip 6 in Battery Park, Circle Line is the oldest and largest provider of sightseeing cruises using the most modern vessels. POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for always providing outstanding service; including but not limited to mobile tickets sales, information and guidance assistance and problem solving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing excellent customer service to all guests

Proactively encourage prospective customers to join us on a cruise, tour or event

Actively sell our services by communicating general information regarding our products and services including locations and scheduled departure times

Consistently meet and exceed required Sales.

Receive, record and balance large amounts of cash/credit card receipts.

Issue printed boarding tickets and account for all ticket receipts at the end of the day.

Announce all incoming and departing vessels.

Adhere to company guidelines when resolving issues with customers.

Advise the pier management team immediately of any guests concerns and/or trends.

Maintain awareness of all NYCL products and services

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Energetic, friendly and strong customer service/interpersonal skills

1-2 years of customer service/sales experience

Self-starter with ability to work independently and proactively.

Experienced in handling portable cash/credit machines.

Ability to resolve problems in a friendly and respectful manner.

Able to stand for long periods of time and work outdoors.

Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Strong communication and mathematical skills

Bi-lingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
