Job Summary:

Pump Mechanics at Conhagen play a vital role in the mechanic department. They independently handle tasks like assembling pumps, balancing rotors, and inspecting machinery. They also mentor trainee mechanics and resolve common mechanical issues.

Pump Mechanics are responsible for:

Inspecting, assembling, and disassembling rotating equipment.

Understanding pumps and turbines.

Adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Interpreting instructions and sketches.

Using math for precise measurements.

Operating machinery like forklifts and cranes.

Performing inspections, cleaning, and labeling.

Conducting Non-Destructive Testing.

Maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Providing guidance to less-experienced mechanics.

Requirements:

English proficiency.

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail.

Three years of relevant experience.

Mechanical knowledge.

Proficiency in precise measuring tools.

Ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Experience in a dynamic shop setting.

Weekend availability.

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Mechanical vocational training.

Forklift certification.

Leadership skills.
