Role: Confluent Kafka Platform Engineer

Primary Skills: Apache Kafka

Role Description: The Confluent Kafka Platform Engineer must have at least 8+ years of experience. For this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality applications.

You will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities:

- Confluent Event Streaming Platform-Upgrade/maintenance of Confluent Kafka platform from current version to latest release.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka Brokers and understanding of underlying functionality.

- Hands-on experience with Schema Registry and understanding of underlying functionality.

- Hands-on experience with KSQL DB and understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors and understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.

- Good understanding of Kafka client (Producer and consumer) functionality.

- Collaborate among development teams, product Managers, operations teams and architect groups.

- Ability to design and implement technical solutions for the Kafka On-prem and Confluent Cloud platform.

- Provide support to client's application teams to migrate application integrations from Tibco EMS platform to Kafka platform.

- Understanding of AWS cloud to support confluent Kafka on cloud.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience
