The Pastry Cook will support the Executive Pastry Chef & team, and will help make cookies, cakes, breads, and other pastries according to pre-established recipes
This role will pay a salary of $20 to $22.00.

About the Venue
Peak is a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, in a State-of-the-Art building with panoramic views and situated above Edge, the highest outdoor observation deck in the city. A luxurious destination with breath-taking views of lower New York City.
Responsibilities
Operate and manage the pastry section of kitchen, working together with the other chefs
Prepare a variety of baked goods
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods
Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Good knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
Confident culinary techniques and skills
Good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead
Diligent and meticulous in making and receiving orders
Strong organizational and time management skills
Punctual and discipline to ensure optimal work performance
