Product Owner, Shopfloor Digitalization

Huhtamaki is currently looking to hire a Product Owner, Shopfloor Digitalization to join our global Digital Process & Performance Team.

As a Product Owner, reporting to Senior Manager, Shopfloor Digitalization, you’ll play a key role in leading the design, implementation, and operations of a modern, shopfloor digitalization platforms (SFD) for our manufacturing operations globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Huhtamaki employee with shopfloor experience and a solution-oriented mindset to move into a global role, making a significant impact across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

This platform empowers our factories to innovate & eradicate losses with modern digital, data and analytics capabilities to support our World Class Operations by providing reusable standard templates and accelerators for rollout.

Acting as the primary interface between the Operations, IT Stakeholders, and System Integrators working on the platform.

Create, maintain, and communicate platform vision and roadmap, based on requirements, and needs from different stakeholders from Operations & WCO.

Define and prioritize the product backlog, creating user stories and acceptance criteria .

Maximizing efficiency for external integrators and developers while ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with commonly agreed practices and governance.

Updating and reviewing documentation .

Manage product releases, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure smooth deployment .

Experience & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field .

Strong Manufacturing / Shopfloor experience required.

Experience in leading and implementing IT projects and collaborating with operations teams in a manufacturing environment.

A good understanding of modern digitalization platforms and MOM/MES applications in manufacturing industry.

A solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on working attitude.

Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.

Experience working with integrations, connecting multiple data sources to the platform, including OT and IT data sources (e.g. ERP, WMS).

Azure DevOps (Backlog and Wiki).
