Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Home Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions spanning both backend and frontend technologies. With a focus on AWS cloud services, Elixir/Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI development, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly applications. Your Day-to-Day

Lead the development of full-stack software solutions leveraging AWS cloud services, Elixir/Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI frameworks.

Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both backend and frontend components using industry best practices.

Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components and interfaces.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks across the full technology stack.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

About You

Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, with expertise in AWS,GCP or DigitalOcean cloud services, Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI development.

Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

Experience designing and developing applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

Deep understanding of PostgreSQL database architecture, optimization, and query tuning.

Proficiency in UI development with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership is a plus.
