Role Summary:
Flowserve is seeking the best and the brightest to join its team of IT professionals. The Windchill Administrator will be responsible for installation, configuration and administration of Windchill systems and support product data development processes if any for product structure and BOM management, engineering change and release management, data management with Solidworks, Creo, AutoCAD etc,
Responsibilities:
Design and implement technical solutions for the Windchill system
Working knowledge on installation of updates and system patches
Administration and upgrading of Windchill CAD workers and servers
Evaluation of log files and database administration
Creation of work instructions and process improvements
System performance monitoring, system setup, configuration and customization
Establish relationship with subject matter experts (SMEs), business analysts, developers to understand complex business problems, perform application analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus
5+ years of experience as a Windchill system administrator
Experience with CAD data management for multiple CAD applications (eg. Creo, Solidworks etc.)
Experience in working on Windchill PDMLink 10.0+
Experience in Windchill PDMLink installation, CPS patch update, cluster configuration
Familiar with Windchill upgrade and rehosting process
Experience in remote file server configuration and vaults (vaults configuration on azure storage)
System maintenance that includes upgrades, patches, remediate security vulnerabilities and install new releases
Execute daily/weekly/monthly maintenance of Windchill PDMLink
Perform Windchill maintenance tasks (WindDU, WinRU etc.)
CAD workers, Windchill workgroup manager installation and administration
Visualization and publishing (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo, Adobe Experience Manager)
Log and temp file cleanup and rotation
Review server manager, method server and other logs for issues
PTC system monitor administration, monitoring and reporting
Support PDMLink support team on user issues
Knowledge in Windchill business administration – access policy, lifecycle, OIR, workflows, change management etc.
Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
Environment planning (monitor CPU, RAM and diskspace growth and plan for expansion or clean-up)
Coordinate environment resources and schedules for development, test and production activities
Maintain system administration documentation
Strong communication skills
