UWorld is seeking a onsite AP Chemistry Teacher to serve as Curriculum Developer and contribute to our web based AP Chemistry product lines. This individual will use their chemistry knowledge and expertise to help create exceptional curriculum materials by working closely with an onsite team of chemistry educators. This is a great opportunity to partner with fellow AP teachers, scientists, and professors who are passionate about chemistry education. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Required Education

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry or other closely associated Chemical Sciences

Minimum Required Experience

4+ years of experience teaching Advanced Placement Chemistry in a high school

3+ years of experience developing high-yield materials for the AP Chemistry curriculum

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive knowledge of the AP Chemistry course and exam description

Proven ability to develop high-quality AP Chemistry curriculum materials

Ability to communicate with high school student base about AP Chemistry concepts and UWorld AP Chemistry products

Acute attention to detail

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Outstanding problem-solving skills with proven capacity to execute conceptual ideas into finished products

Aptitude for adapting quickly and collaborating effectively

Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively

Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills

Proficient in MS Office and a working knowledge of information technology (IT)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports to the Product Manager, develops educational and curriculum materials for AP Chemistry products

Content Production & Student Interaction

Responsible for independent development of AP Chemistry educational materials based on directives and guidance from management

Generates content that reflects existing AP Chemistry curriculum standards

Receives and effectively adjusts content based on constructive feedback provided by onsite Chemistry team and management

Collaborates with management and other team members to ensure project goals are met within given deadlines

Develops marketing materials and participates in online forums and webinars to aid marketing efforts to increase brand recognition
