The purpose of the Senior Credit Assessor role is to assess loans prior to submission to the credit analyst for review. You will also assist with pre/post settlement enquiries with brokers and lenders. Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce data entry and LoanApp management
Download the documents – ensure they are present and valid, including renaming the documents
Create leads and convert to opportunities
Push to funder application – ensure all the details are accurate
Submit application to funder
Sent credit guides if applicable
Management of valuation report
Issue invoices
Order valuation
Follow up
Generate credit reports and complete title search
Complete KYC – IDyou or IDkit
Complete application forms and sending for signatures
Complete funding table and servicing calculator
Draft credit proposal for credit assessment
Credit assessment – assessing applications prior to submission to the credit analyst for review
Complete risk and fraud assessments
Review credit limits in line with the company's policies and procedures
Recommend for approval/decline
Complete cover sheets
Dealing with underwriter MIR and queries
Issue formal approval or decline letter
Assist with Pre & Post settlement enquiries
Ad hoc task as necessary
Guide the junior assessor and pre-assessment team if required
Requirements
Required skills/experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields
Minimum 2 years of strong credit experience
Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively for fast-paced work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
Strong understanding of the credit policy
Strong problem-solving, mathematical, comprehension and analytical skills
Independent in decision-making
Effective communicator and customer eccentric skills
