The Automotive Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our automotive service department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, maintaining efficient operations, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

*Includes, but is not limited to:

· Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain a consistent workflow and efficient operation of the automotive service department.

· Interact with customers to assess their vehicle repair needs, provide estimates, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

· Report financial performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins, to the District Manager.

· Manage the check-in and billing processes for customers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

· Oversee the scheduling of automotive service appointments and allocate resources effectively to meet demand.

· Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.

· Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

· Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve service offerings.

· Must be able to work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, including Saturdays, to meet business demands.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive service industry, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role.

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve goals and objectives.

· Strong understanding of automotive service operations, including diagnostic procedures, repair techniques, and industry regulations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, employees, and senior management.

· Proficient in using automotive service software and tools for scheduling, billing, and inventory management.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business demands.
