Job Description

General Summary

General monitoring of various computer system alarms, clerical work to include answering phone, data entry, report generation, maintaining JC documentation, security access and reporting deviations/issues to appropriate personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Answer, record all trouble calls, generate work orders for O&M and HAS as needed.

Process, verify for accuracy and close completed work orders into DMLLS.

Daily data entry into computer database and print various types of reports as needed

Maintain JC preventative maintenance documents accurately.

Locking and unlocking of exterior doors.

After hours Unlocks of doors for Medical Center personnel with appropriate authorization.

Control and manage service vendor access into the facility.

Monitoring of critical alarm systems including HVAC, Fire Alarm, Medical Gas, Nurse Call, Pneumatic Tube System, CCTV and Door access.

Adjust BAS temperatures, identify discrepancies and report to appropriate personnel

Evaluates alarm conditions to determine necessary response actions and in response to computer output instructions or error conditions, applies standard operating/corrective procedure.

Notify technical support personnel as required and refer problems which do not respond to preplanned procedure to supervisory personnel.

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of various computer software, data entry, and ability to generate reports

General mechanical knowledge needed

Work requires the application of experience and judgment in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of source documents

Ability to enter data at a rate of 50 wpm and work independently

Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, lifting and occasional walking to perform duties.
