Position Description:
Work Dates: ASAP - Mar 2024
Preferred Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7a-530p with a 30 min lunch
Worksite Setting: Inpatient; ASC
Scope of Work:
Administer anesthesia (endotracheal tubes, respirators)
Insert arterial central and peripheral venous lines
Monitor, maintain, and interpret data and waveforms
Monitor vital signs
Case mix includes General Surg, Spine, Thoracic, Robotic, Neuro, ENDO, ORTHO, Vascular, OB (No PEDs)
ORs: 12 UT; 5 surgery centers, 4 GI
Trauma Level: Not designated (close to level II or III)
Monday through Friday coverage
MD to CRNA coverage ratio: 1/3 or 1/4
Competency for spinal, epidural, occasional regional blocks; no hearts
Average volume/acuity varies by specialty
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
CT state license
Board Certified (BC)
ACLS, BLS certifications
EMR experience with Epic
Privileging Process: 45-60 days
