We're hiring a dynamic individual for the dual roles of Safety Management Systems (SMS) Lead and Flight Dispatcher. As an experienced Aircraft Dispatcher, you'll collaborate closely with the Director of Operations, ensuring safe and efficient operations, adhering to regulations, and optimizing aircraft and crew utilization. Simultaneously, as an SMS Lead, you'll develop and implement SMS programs, showcasing expertise in leadership, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication. Safety Management Systems (SMS) Lead

Responsibilities:

• Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.

• Analyzes and assesses risks associated with hazards identified within operational processes.

• Assists in the processing of Operational Event Reporting Program reports and supports safety and security event investigation and analysis.

• Creates and maintains required documentation of safety and security data collection, analysis, and dissemination processes.

• Monitors Safety and Security Performance Indicator (SPI) trend analysis and continuous improvement of metrics and goals.

Flight Dispatcher

Responsibilities:

• Interaction with various department heads regarding any operational requirement or issue that may affect flight activity.

• Provides the highest level of safety and service for all Flight Crews, owners, and employees.

• Creates accurate, compliant flight plans, including routing, weight & balance, and aircraft performance.

• Anticipates and proactively takes action to resolve future trip/dispatch events, situations, and opportunities.

• Flight Following as workload allows.

• Continuously looks for best practices and ways to integrate process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Aircraft Dispatch is required.

• FAA Dispatch License, Pilot License, or other flight qualifications desirable but not required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and Excel is essential.

• Ability to quickly adapt to current and new software products is essential.

• Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation is essential.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Comfortable in a dynamic development environment.

• Excitement and passion to create amazing and safe products.

• Driven to innovate.

• Expert in managing SMS and enhancing a positive safety culture.

• A history of successful implementation and management of SMS programs, including Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance, and Safety Promotion, is preferred.

Required Competencies:

• Judgment and initiative in setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining program requirements.

• Balances are competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in aviation flight operations, safety programs, aviation operations, analysis, and reporting.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Problem-solving, excellent time management, and prioritization skills.

• Logical aptitude to work with complex regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience in flight operation performance data, statistical, and risk analysis.

Fulltime Remote / hybrid work location possible

Variable shifts and hours

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
