Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Technician for an automotive manufacturing company in Troy, MI. A successful Quality Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

This is a 1st shift position from 6am to 4pm Monday to Saturday. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:

Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.

Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards.

Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.

Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.

Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.

Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards.

Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.

Required Qualifications of the Quality Technician:

Knowledge and experience in measuring equipment such as Calipers, and Micrometers is required.

Blueprint reading and previous experience working with government contracts is preferred.

Understanding of computers and in programs like Word, Excel, and Office strongly preferred.

A background in Production or Quality Control/Assurance is a plus.

Fast learners, and detail oriented people encouraged to apply.
