Trial Attorney, Employment Law

Job Description

We seek to establish a collaborative partnership with a seasoned Employment Law Trial Attorney with solid track record of successful trials. This attorney will oversee cases pertaining to employment law, including arbitration and deposition proceedings, acting on our behalf.

Your role will encompass offering guidance and tactics, conducting legal research, and advocating for us in court.

Responsibilities:

Handling depositions and representing us in court, arbitration, or similar legal forums, presenting cogent arguments to the judicial body.

Proactively preparing for and attending trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

Analyzing and summarizing complex legal documents, including contracts, and proposing revisions as necessary.

Resolving legal disputes through thorough analysis of relevant laws, development of arguments, evidence gathering, and legal representation.

Drafting, reviewing, completing, and submitting legal documentation pertaining to business activities.

Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on our behalf.

Crafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business litigation.

Demonstrated track record of success in trial proceedings.

Proficiency in litigating in federal courts.

Active California State Bar License.

Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, reasoning, and negotiation abilities.

Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.

Effective leadership, organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities.

Ability to perform under pressure and within tight deadlines.
