As General Trade Lead of Philippines, you will lead a high performing team to deliver commercial objectives of sales, profit, cash, and market share for the General Trade team covering local chain drugstores, wholesalers, supermarkets and groceries. This role is a key member of the Philippines leadership team and reporting to the General Manager, Philippines.

Key responsibilities:

This position’s responsibilities include:

Sustainable and profitable growth and sales target achievement.

Establishes a strong working relationship across all customers including the national distributor, wholesalers and other customers. Creates a development plan for the top customers to drive growth for the channel.

Responsible for delivering against the commercial hygiene and commercial excellence initiatives on route to market, sales force effectiveness, net revenue management and sales capability.

Responsible on delivering KPIs like distribution, total lines sold, availability, gross-to-net management and best-in-class in-store execution.

Responsible for building a strong team focused on delivery as well as personal growth.

Works closely with Trade Marketing and Marketing in implementing trade activities and provide feedback on promotion effectiveness and make recommendations where necessary.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

Bachelor’s degree

10-15 years of experience in FMCG/CH environment in a variety of sales/customer/marketing roles.

General Trade, Pharmacy customer management experience (including go to market, business planning, gross to net management, negotiation, distributor management)

Analytical thinking: strong business and data acumen to identify trends and provide insights across categories and customers.

Execution excellence: ability to think strategically and initiate, develop, and drive a

business-wide process and a solution based ‘can do’ approach.

Collaboration: ability to work within a cross-functional set-up demonstrating strong influencing skills at all levels within the company and with distributor partner/s.

Leadership: ability to lead and effectively manage a big team across regions.

Integrity and Passion: of good moral character; leads with integrity and displays passion for the business and team.
