Assistant Controller

Job Description

Manage the financial operations of Gar Kenyon Aerospace and Defense, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll. Adhere to a documented system of acounting policies and procedures. Assist in the preparaton of periodic fiancial reports, ensure the reported results comply with generally accepted acconting principles and financial standards. Assist in the producing budgets and forecasts, reports significant budget differences, provide financial analysis on capital investments. Work closely with Sales on preparing customer quotations and making pricing decisions. Work with external auditors and provide information as required. Ensure compliance iwth local, state and government requirements.Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. Familiarity with the Aerospace Industry a plus.
