COMPREHENSIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Worker I
REPORT TO: Facilities and Safety Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Employee will implement and maintain a schedule of regular and preventive maintenance in store and plant locations including floor maintenance. Will also keep the building properly heated, and keep the outside areas of lawn, gardens and parking lot in neat condition and satisfactory repair. Will keep all tools in safe and clean condition, and perform other duties as assigned; will adhere to Universal Precautions. Employee will travel through five counties; Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Lawrence, Mercer, to perform assigned tasks within stores as needed. Workload is store maintenance and plant.
Employee will be able to read technical material and utilize basic mathematical skills.
Employee will annually review the Corporate Responsibility Policy to assure departmental compliance with it.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED
A high school diploma is helpful but not required. A valid drivers license is required. Knowledge in welding preferred.
