FRONT-LINE SERVER POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front-line server P.M. will assist with basic meal preparations, equipment maintenance and safety standards.

FRONT-LINE SERVER CORE WORK PRINCIPLE:

FRONT-LINE SERVER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Promote a welcoming and hospitable environment.

Set up the front line station and stock with necessary supplies.

Restock food on the line.

Keep front line organized and clean.

Maintain cleanliness & hygiene standards that comply with state & local food safety and sanitation regulations.

Maintain food line station, including kitchen equipment, tables and counter tops.

Keep up with plate counts for each mealtime.

Sweep and mop floors online, as required.

Maintain storage room and inventory.

Prepare plates on the line.

Ensure quality & freshness of condiments & products.

Handle and store food safely and properly.

Maintain T.P.C logs that comply to health department regulations.

Conduct other duties as assigned by the Food Service & Security Director.

FRONT-LINE SERVER PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other customers.

Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting objects, and operating office equipment.

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand for extended period of time.

The kitchen is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated.

Noise level is considered low to moderate.Requirements:

FRONT-LINE SERVER EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURES:

High School Diploma, GED, or 3 years of equivalent work experience.

Food Handler Card, required.

FRONT-LINE SERVER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Must have knowledge of general kitchen operations.

Must know general food storage guidelines.

Strong work ethic to handle fast-paced kitchen environment.

Must be able to operate dishwasher.

Ability to multitask.

Must be able to deliver strong customer service.
