Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Our client, a nationwide leader in plastics and materials manufacturing, has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic, to join their winning team.

Our candidate of choice will be able to work in a team setting, but will also feel confident enough to complete some smaller tasks independently. This position is "hands-on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

2+ years of experience working with 480V 3-phase electrical

2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial production machinery or other related machinery

Welding and Fabrication experience a plus but not required

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job

Must be able to be on-call if necessary

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Rigging and heavy equipment experience a plus

Knowledge of pipe threading for air hydraulic and electrical piping

Understand lockout procedures and ARC flash protection/dangers

Able to use scissor lifts, boom/aerial lifts, and forklifts
