Salary: $48,000 - $52,000

As full-time Lead Stylist & Merchandiser at V&V you’ll bring joy, surprise and discovery to our clients’ clothing experience through personal styling and independent design. You’ll cultivate authentic client relationships and offer exceptional styling expertise and product knowledge, driving sales and appointment bookings. You’ll collaborate with our team to create a visually compelling store environment.

This role is full-time at our flagship store in downtown Durham. It offers a competitive salary ($48,000 to $52,000), PTO, benefits and a set schedule with office time. It also provides a rare opportunity to mentor with our renowned co-founder & CEO, who was trained in Paris.

ROLE:

Learn the “master class” of hospitality, personal styling and visual merchandising

Develop in-depth knowledge of V&V’s curated collection of independent designers and engage and inspire clients and walk-ins with our designers’ stories

Successfully partner with our team to plan appointments, create memorable styling experiences and fulfill our sales and KPI goals

Create an uplifting visual space through display planning and merchandising, daily store upkeep, and continually improving our merchandising processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

You embody V&V’s core values of care, candor, optimism and curiosity

You love to serve others and you’re driven to build sales, and achieve & exceed goals

You have at least 1 year of proven experience with personal styling and visual merchandising, ideally in a boutique setting

You can describe the construction, cut and material of a garment

You’re able to work on your feet and lift 25 lbs

Major plus - a degree in fashion and/or experience building an Instagram account

REWARDS:

Annual salary of $48,000 - $52,000, commensurate with experience, and performance-pay increases.

Consistent, set schedule - Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30 - 7 pm - with office day during the week
