We are looking for an HR Learning & Organizational Development Manager to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this position provides leadership to the Learning & Organizational Development team. They will lead, develop, and implement services and programs that align to employee learning, engagement, and development of a variety of corporate strategic initiatives across the organization. This position works collaboratively with other HR professionals, business unit managers, and leaders to provide organizational development solutions, tools, and processes required to support employees so they may carry out job functions and fulfill the objectives of the Company.

Major activities include:

Learning

Assess, evaluate, and implement learning and development activities to meet organizational and performance goals.

Lead facilitation and administration of learning and employee engagement events and ad hoc projects.

Provide support and leadership with learning assessments, recommendations, and training plans for the organization.

Organizational Development (OD)

Responsible for the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of initiatives that support employee engagement, career, leadership development, change management, succession planning, performance management, culture and talent and other requests as required.

Facilitate, execute, and provide analysis of employee engagement pulse surveys.

Support internal employee intranet content development.

Support and provide leadership on wellness and engagement initiatives.

Provide support to the VP, People & Culture, Management, and HR business partners.

Other Duties

Provide support to all areas of HR as required, may include various duties such as compensation, workforce planning and generalist needs.

Support HR policy and process development including conducting research, writing documentation, facilitating input and approvals and leading change management efforts.

Participate and represent HR on other corporate projects as required.

What you'll need:

Business/Commerce degree or equivalent, a focus in Human Resources Management is preferred.

Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation would be a definite asset.

7-10 years of prior experience with implementing various organizational development initiatives.

Advanced knowledge of learning and organizational development trends and best practices.

Advanced written and verbal communication, training, and facilitation skills.

Operate with a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be tactful and diplomatic in the communication of difficult and sensitive information.

Ability to capture and interpret an extensive variety of complex operational and technical information and policies and processes to create appropriate learning materials and solutions for end-users.

Ability to think strategically and systematically, attention to detail.

Ability to interact professionally and earn credibility with all levels of the organization.

Communication and facilitation may require the ability to translate complex, technical concepts or sensitive information into language that can be easily understood by the audience (comprehensive, concise, and understandable).

Adapts effectively to tight and/or changing priorities, deadlines, and simultaneous projects, managing expectations and resources.

Ability to make suggestions and decisions with limited or conflicting information in unusual or ambiguous situations.
