IT System Administrator Production Platforms

We are currently looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Guangzhou.

Position summary:

The IT System Expert Production Platforms takes care of application architecture in a professional mode according to ITIL standard processes. This includes collaboration and consultancy of other IT departments and the business. Furthermore, the IT Expert will work in a hybrid environment with cloud and on-premise solutions.

In this role the IT Expert will be part of a global team but also the main responsible one for a defined range of applications. As a member of the global team the IT Expert is part of a follow the sun support for all applications and provides on-call duty service for a small number of business-critical applications.

Your task:

• Participate on technical projects to provide the application architecture design and launch support of regional & global applications, following the security regulations as well as the ZF given framework in a hybrid environment (Cloud & on-premise)

• Design and setup of adequate End to End monitoring solutions for the launched applications especially for the message bus systems installed globally.

• As part of the 3rd level support, lead and ensure root cause analysis of problems, performance and availability issues and initiate corrective actions and implementation of preventative measures

• Write standard operating procedures for extended support teams as well as end-user facing self-service support documents

• Intake of customer requests, consulting and developing of solutions based on the IT-Service-Operation framework

Your profile:

• Hands-on experiences with application automatic deployment such as Linux, Ansible, Git Lab, CI/CD Pipelines

• Knowledge in scripting for automatic deployment & maintenance - Bash, PowerShell, Python

• Experiences with Cloud related and infrastructure technologies like Azure, Azure DevOps or Terraform

• Good English language skills

• Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
