Kennedy Jenks is seeking an exceptional Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Project Manager for our growing team in California. Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for leading people and water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects. These projects may span through planning, design and construction phases. You will provide project management and engineering expertise on water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including water transmission pipelines, sanitary sewer collection systems, tanks/reservoirs, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment. You will also work closely with business development and technical leadership on project delivery and business growth. This position provides significant growth opportunities in technical, managerial, and business development pathways for project managers excited by growing their career as we grow a thriving practice.
Leading delivery of water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects through planning studies, design and construction
Overseeing design delivery (plans, specifications, and cost estimates)
Mentoring project staff
Supporting sales in collaboration with businesses development teams
Coordinating with in-house multi-discipline design teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and architectural) and specialized sub-consultants
Managing all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget and quality
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field
10+ years experience managing similar water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Strong writing and communication skills will enable your team to deliver an exceptional work product
Ability to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks offices
California Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE registration within 6 months of hire
Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients
Experience supporting business development
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Salary range for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $180,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
