What You’ll Do:

Responsible for incoming vendor shipments and for REEF outgoing vessel deliveries.

Maintaining storage areas upon reception of operational inventory and responsible for its organization.

Managing product flow by ensuring that inventory is up to date to ensure food availability for the production team.

Receiving food inventory and validating order accuracy.

Ensuring vendors and drivers are in compliance with food safety protocols with the vendors.

Scheduling food deliveries and water truck pick up services.

Report any spills or wastes from the deliveries to the Production Kitchen Manager.

Manage vehicle maintenance and report any damages.

Hiring drivers and handling their training and performance management.

What We Want From You:

CVOR – Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration and DZ License holder

5-10 years of experience in logistics management in the food industry

Attention to detail

Ability to multi-task

Excellent knowledge of food safety and logistics management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Frequently operate small office equipment such as a computer, tablet, and copier/printer, telephone.

Work is performed in a production facility environment.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Operating a pallet truck

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed indoors and outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
