The Position

The team you're joining is in charge of maximizing the evolution of the Operating Systems Platforms, supporting new requirements, balancing reliability with the pace of innovation Roche’s digital businesses require.

You will be contributing to provide highly reliable Operating Systems Platforms, federated, self-sufficient, self-service, automated, and flexible while reducing manual efforts & technical debt making room for further innovation.

Remove Toil through automation and IaC, to ensure faster delivery of product updates and bug fixes, decrease the risk of human errors and allow squad members to focus on value added activities.

Improve reliability using proactive monitoring and self healing capabilities, shifting as many issues as we could from a reactive, human response to a proactive, automated response.

Improve user experience by self-service requests with automated delivery, to allow Operating Systems consumers easily request, provision, modify and decommission Digital Integration products offerings.

Measure Operating Systems platforms user experience and Service Level Objectives as input for continuous improvement & ensure service requirements are met according to business needs.

Focus on continuously making platforms, products or services more scalable, reliable, agile and transparent.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience.

3+ years of experience in infrastructure technologies, with a strong focus on the following areas:

MS Windows operating systems

Large-Scale infrastructure automation

Infrastructure as Code, specifically PowerShell and/or Ansible

Reliability and observability (LogicMonitor, Splunk)

DevOps and CI/CD

Scripting Languages (Ansible, Powershell, Python, C Shell)

Experience with the following would be a plus:

Platform engineering and support

Public clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP

Familiarity with the following tools would be a plus:

DevSecOps (GitLab, Jenkins)

The position will be located in Madrid. You will be working closely with Infrastructure teams located in Madrid and around the world.
