Position Summary

The Visiting Research Associate I performs research functions within the Vitoux Program on Aging and Prevention. The position provides assistance to the Vitoux Director in order to meet the research and training objectives of the Vitoux Program. This position conducts research according to study protocols that investigate lifestyle and behavioral health interventions for adults with chronic diseases.

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the supervising Research Specialist, the primary duties will include research participant recruitment and follow up, data collection, entry and processing, and intervention scheduling and delivery. The role will assist with the development, implementation, and refinement of research processes and procedures as well as data collection processes. The role may also assist with basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field required.

Knowledge of fundamental research concepts, practices and procedures.

Entry level knowledge of research methods.
