Inspire Psychiatric is expanding and currently seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide services in an outpatient office setting.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in our thriving private practice, you will be afforded the opportunity to provide compassionate, top-tier care to individuals seeking mental health services. You'll collaborate with our team of psychiatric nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals, including psychologists and therapists, to devise effective treatment plans for each patient.

Your day-to-day duties may encompass conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing psychiatric disorders, prescribing appropriate medications, and assisting patients and their families in formulating effective coping strategies.

To thrive in this role, it's crucial to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges encountered by individuals seeking mental health services, and a broad knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments. It's essential that you have experience working with patients of varying age groups and possess the ability to establish strong relationships with patients and their families. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge with the latest research and best practices in the field is also a crucial requirement.

Position Details:

Full-time role requiring 28-35 hours per week of client interaction.

Requirements:

Current license to practice in California.

Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Masters or Doctorate degree.

Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and implementing evidence-based medicine in prescribing.

Proficiency in establishing professional and therapeutic rapport with clients.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Private Practice is advantageous.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of two years' experience in the field of psychiatry or mental health.
