The successful candidate will orchestrate the IT and Cybersecurity testing strategies, leading a team to assess risks and enhance control measures, while advising senior management on technological vulnerabilities and improvements.

This strategic role demands significant risk management expertise and current knowledge of cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and execution of control effectiveness testing strategies for technology and cybersecurity controls across the bank.

Develop methodologies and criteria for assessing the effectiveness of IT and cybersecurity controls, including automated systems, access controls, data protection measures, and incident response capabilities.

Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and business units to identify key areas of technological risk and prioritize control testing activities accordingly.

Oversee a team of specialists in conducting rigorous testing of IT and Cyber controls, ensuring methodologies are applied consistently and findings are documented accurately.

Analyze testing outcomes to identify control weaknesses, gaps, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with internal audit and external regulators to support audits and examinations related to technology and cybersecurity controls, facilitating the sharing of testing methodologies, findings, and remediation efforts.

Monitor changes in technology, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory requirements to continuously refine and update testing strategies and methodologies.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting system to track control testing activities, outcomes, and trends over time, providing regular updates to senior management.

Contribute to the life and culture of Optimus SBR.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

Client-centric orientation with highly developed writing, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to produce quality materials for review with clients, and a proven ability to align stakeholders around common objectives and goals.

management consulting experience preferred but not required.
