Chilliwack, BC $70,000 to $80,000, negotiable Full Time, Permanent Benefits and RRSP Plan, Signing Bonus Raise Workforce has partnered with a well established Heavy Equipment parts and service shop that is working to support the local Industrial industries in the area.

To be successful in this role, you have a background in Heavy Equipment and demonstrated success in part sales.

You are customer focused and strives to improve service levels and customer confidence.

You possess a strong work ethic and takes pride in your knowledge.

What you will be doing...

Excellent product knowledge with a focus on continued improvement Source parts via OEM schematics - review requests for complete information – determine ETA requirements and source accordingly Understanding and adherence to company system and procedures, including credit policies, warranties, sales & returns, core returns, purchasing and quoting Respond to every request with a sense of urgency – report status efficiently Provide high level of customer satisfaction – both internally and externally Maintain purchase orders, back orders, inter warehouse transfers and open orders to completion in a timely manner Able to receive incoming shipments, prepare outgoing shipments, maintain all records for and follow through with discrepancies Create and maintain vendor reference material - database, websites, catalogues Monitor cycle counts and ensure monthly completion Compile and complete monthly stock orders, put stock away upon receiving Stock and maintain showroom Proactively seek sales in slow times – cold call, up-sell Ensure customer fleet information is recorded and updated Increase sales by targeting customer requirements based on fleet and season Maintain clean and professional appearance in parts and warehouse area Lead by example regarding corporate initiatives – cash sale to tracking account customers, lost sale reports Adhere to and enforce all health & safety policies and procedures Possible snow removal and clean up as required Product sourcing and purchasing as required Associated paperwork and filing for all the above duties Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager Why this is the right job for you… Must have experience in parts sales for off road equipment Sound set of computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Must be capable of complex math calculations such as margin, markup, freight, and exchange A customer driven positive attitude is a must Team player and mentor with a positive, proactive attitude Looking for meaningful work?
