Job Description Plan, Execute, Analyze, Lead.

The Software validation Technologist plays a critical role by working within the Innovation and Sustainability Team, helping to bring physical testing results to component and system designs.

This person will create, deploy, and manage Software testing and validation plans and project schedules both at the component level and at the system level.

This person is also a support with the development of application guidelines for products and resins and will be a support in testing new products and technologies at customer sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability: Test preparation: Creating test plans, building systems for testing Participate in project design reviews and risk assessments and develop testing and validation strategy based on risks and product claims Implement software validation engineering test plans, cases plus scripts.

Evaluate and verify some issues discovered, log probable software bugs in Husky tracking database.

Prepare validation plus acceptance criteria and evaluate test results to assure software attains requirements and parameters.

Identify gaps, suggest solutions and lead enhancement to software validation procedures, processes and practices.

Ensure completeness and accuracy of software validation records.

Test execution: Installing systems for testing, performing specific tests per the plan Results analysis – critical review of testing results including data analyses to support testing conclusions Process data collection and analysis, part inspection plan and data analysis Reporting results and conclusions both in formally documented reports and effective presentations Service support – assist in the resolution of significant service projects Think as voice of customer in validation process.

Refine internal product knowledge based on performance/results outside of the Husky testing labs EDUCATION: BS in Electrical, Software or Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE Required 2+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting of complex mechanical systems 2+ years of experience working in project teams, with both external and internal customers +2 years experiences with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic system with data acquisition systems +2 years experiences with PLC programing IEC 61131-3 language Desired Experience with C# compliant languages such as C, Java, and Python Experience with Modbus, Ethernet, EtherCAT Experience with .Net Software components QUALIFICATIONS Strong organizational skills Strong Knowledge in electrical system Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase Ability to work independently and to be part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to balance multiple initiatives with unique schedules and needs Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
