Position Overview: As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects adhere to quality standards and specifications. Your role involves conducting inspections, testing materials, and implementing quality control procedures to maintain high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Perform various tests on construction materials, such as concrete, steel, and asphalt, to verify quality, strength, and durability.

Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance issues.

Implement quality assurance measures to prevent defects and deviations from project requirements.

Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.

Provide training to construction teams on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices to enhance quality awareness and compliance.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and ensure project success.

Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or a related role within the construction industry.

Proficiency in quality control testing methods and techniques. Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with stakeholders effectively and convey quality-related information.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and foster a culture of quality and excellence.
