Technician

Job Summary:

The main responsibility of the Technician is to perform high-quality repairs and maintenance. The Technician’s competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills in combination with a commercial mindset, will ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers, on-time delivery, and safety at work are achieved by following defined processes, standards, and guidelines. The Technician contributes to the organization's profitability and safety on our roads.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

Matric certificate or N3 or equivalent

Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate

Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Diesel Technician

Workshop experience with repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.

Driver's license, code 14

Before Maintenance or Repair Event - Secure that the right information, tools and spare parts are available

During Maintenance or Repair Event - Through well-known and described working methods and standards perform maintenance or repair on time in a correct and safe way

After Maintenance or Repair Event - Secure minimized lead time of invoicing. Through clear description of performed work and/or communicated what needs to be done if the work is handed over to a colleague
