Job Overview

We are seeking an Interior Project Engineer to join our team at Sahanas Creations, a leading interior design and architectural firm with 23+ years of experience. As an Interior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Diploma in civil engineering, or a related field

Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in interior design or project management

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize

SHOULD HAVE HANDLED OFFICE AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage and oversee interior design projects from conception to completion

Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

Create project schedules, budgets, and timelines

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed

Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials and resources are available on time

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Review and approve design plans, drawings, and specifications

Conduct site visits to inspect the progress and quality of work

Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns

Maintain documentation of project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
