Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced South Indian Chef to join our clients . As a South Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.
Qualifications And Skills
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef with 7 to 10 years of experience in a senior role
In-depth knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and recipes
Ability to create, innovate, and develop new South Indian dishes
Strong understanding of flavor combinations, textures, and presentation in South Indian cuisine
Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
Good communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Roles And Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, and chutneys, according to traditional recipes and standards
Develop and create new South Indian dishes that are innovative and appealing to our customers
Ensure the highest quality and taste of all South Indian dishes served
Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients and spices
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute menus
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into South Indian cuisine
Handle customer inquiries and special requests related to South Indian dishes
