Job Requirements

Preferring candidates from the Jewelry industry

Must have 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field

Should possess knowledge of Metals/ Stones/ Plating

Having own contacts of manufacturers or contacts of handcrafting jewelry designers is an added advantage

Additional knowledge of designing

Commercial awareness

Interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiating

Job Responsibilities

Identifying the organizations purchasing requirements

Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products

Building relationships with manufacturers or suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales

Handling requests and informing management of order status

Understanding the target market and analyzing the trends in order to make informed buying decisions

Making sure to get quality products, monitoring the quality, and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers or manufacturers and management.
