Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, ServiceNow Architect to join our dynamic team.

The ServiceNow Architect will responsible for overall security strategy, architecture across the ServiceNow platform maintaining security across data, processes, reporting, global roles/teams and proactively driving pragmatic solutions that support the business in a secure, transparent and resilient manner. This critical position values integrity, quality, expertise, precision, communication, and efficiency and required to define ServiceNow solution requirements, determine and define integration requirements, and develop overall architecture and implementation plans.

This role collaborates with the other Nissan Digital teams, HR teams, vendors, employees, managers and other functional stakeholders and required to work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify ServiceNow platform solution options, to set a structured system evolution roadmap for ServiceNow at Nissan

Identify the current needs, demand from the business community, and understand systems feasibilities to cater to those needs and implement robust solutions in the system to address those need gaps.

This position requires an individual that demonstrates leadership, business strategy, decision-making, and management skills, and to oversee the ServiceNow Security Operation implementations to serve our clients with excellence

As a ServiceNow expert you will be closely involved in the implementation of ServiceNow projects for our customers around the globe. You would be expected to familiarize yourself step by step with each phase of a software development project, and to assume your own responsibilities, especially in relation to independent programming tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement and integrate solutions e.g. ServiceNow focusing on:

Governance, Risk & Compliance from both IT and Enterprise perspectives

Security Incident Management

Vulnerability Management

Vendor Risk Management

Business Continuity Management

Solution Architecture: Ability to drive High-Level and Low-Level Design & Architecture based on project requirements. Develop and maintain architectural diagrams and identify solutions

Technical Expert: Be an expert at HR platform capabilities. Be well versed with all aspects of enterprise grade application development on HR platform having worked in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle from Design through Delivery. Understands the nuances of building scalable applications such as Security, Data Management including large data migrations, Integrations, Deployment etc. Familiarity with multiple technologies and proven ability to explore new technologies and drive Automation & Innovation

Be in the Details: Ability to drive Low Level Design based on High-Level Architecture. Ability to review designs with Architecture teams with representations from Security & Privacy. Familiarity with Sequence Diagrams, Flow Charts, Use Case Diagrams that represent low level design is a must. Strong hands-on experience writing code by implementing software development best practices. Must have expertise in building enterprise grade applications and integrations on ServiceNow platform. Performing security assessments and security validation after implementation of security measures in projects

Lead technical Teams: Be a Technical Lead/Mentor for development teams. Be the go-to person for challenges faced by developers. Ability to plan, distribute and drive projects with developers in an Agile model. Document best practices for design and development and ensure development team(s) are following them

Stakeholder management: Manage relationships with our business partners and stakeholders. Drive technical conversations with vendors and technical stakeholders. Excellent communication skills at all levels including senior leadership

Automation: Drive improvements that help us to scale through optimization and automation of manual processes. Drive Security Governance and Management. Own architecture, design, and delivery of critical and complex product requirement

Interpersonal Skills: Responsive, fast-paced decision-making skills with the ability to drive business results. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically

Drives standardization and best practice platform management, enabling you to focus on value delivery.

Institute technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk.

Build a platform team focused on delivering value and innovation.

Helps develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model

Provides technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.

Guides ServiceNow Platform design, including considerations for integration and performance

Assesses architecture and solution designs to support your objectives including alignment with ServiceNow implementation best practices

Offers guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment

Provides technical guidance in platform development and platform- wide solutions

Advises on configuration and coding standards and Supports remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices

Assesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow HealthScan.

Contribute to the overall messaging and positioning of the Security Office & Active participation in Security Industry forums, communities and standards organizations, Lead security conversations & Escalation point for Security Incidents & investigations

Participation in discussions & presentations with Partners and Customers

Investigate and understand cloud threats

Work with internal teams to resolve security issues arising from investigations and incidents and conduct post mortem's to ensure issues are properly remediated

Propose & develop structural/design changes to advance the security posture of ServiceNow

Tech Skills

Understanding of Cloud Service Providers, Cloud Operations and Cloud Computing

Desired Industry Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CSSP, CEH or equivalent

Understanding in internet security protocols and technologies

Understanding of Threat analysis and enterprise cyber defense techniques

Technical Experience :

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow GRC Architect Ability to interact with client, understand implementation/enhance requirements, support implementation of ServiceNow GRC Understand functional and technical usage of components objects of ServiceNow GRC applications Drive the project delivery e2e

Excellent grip of ServiceNow framework, User access model, application scoping, basic ITSM skills, good understanding of CMDB, scipting and other objects

Specialize in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or ServiceNow SecOps product suite, and support creation of collateral, point of view, and thought leadership across the product suite and functional capabilities.

Competency of GRC SecOps model

Knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps and/or GRC module is required

Think enterprise - Ensure apps are built for scalability, security, performance

Demonstrated acumen to pick up new technologies. Ability to effectively manage your time across multiple projects

Well versed with Agile development practices

Has high coding standards & can maintains them under pressure situations

Experience & Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field

10+ years' experience leading and implementing SNOW HRIS solutions

Experience and understanding of security and security implementation within Workday; managed Workday Access Control projects

Advanced MS Excel Skills (formulas, pivot tables, v lookups) and MS Office Skills

Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-year projects globally

Ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment, working across multiple functions globally

Exposure and experience in HR functions, processes and / or HR shared services teams.

Strong customer orientation and service driven mentality

Excellent intercultural communication skills, ability to engage at various levels within the organization

Keen process focus, ability to organize diverse activities into structured processes & a systems orientation

Strong hands-on and can-do mentality. Independent & Process focused approach.

Ability to function in matrix environments, multiple stakeholders with an adaptive mindset and cross-cultural sensitivities

Education Level:

Graduate with a first class degree in computer science or equivalent

10+ years of experience successfully implementing, supporting or upgrading enterprise software product(s)

Post graduate diploma / degree in management is preferable but not mandatory

Certification in ITIL, PMP, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, Quality concepts is preferable but not mandatory

Should be a Certified Systems Administrator (CSA), CMA, CTA
