Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Coder to join our team in Chennai. As a Dermatology Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing dermatology procedures and services. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in dermatology coding.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience as a Dermatology Coder

Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Familiarity with dermatology-related procedures, diagnoses, and terminology

Knowledge of medical coding guidelines and compliance requirements

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC) is preferred

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Roles And Responsibilities

Accurately code and bill dermatology procedures and services based on documentation provided by healthcare providers

Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards

Review and analyze medical records to ensure coding accuracy and completeness

Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies

Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely submission of claims and resolve coding-related denials or rejections

Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices

Assist in training and mentoring junior coding staff
