Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Vendor Manager to join our team at Procucev. As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our vendor network, ensuring optimal relationships and negotiations with vendors, and driving cost savings for our clients. This is a senior-level position with 7 to 10 years of experience required. The job is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is a full-time role.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's of Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable terms and conditions with vendors.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in vendor management.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple vendor relationships and projects.

Experience with vendor management software and tools is a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage and develop the vendor network, ensuring optimal relationships and partnerships.

Negotiate and finalize vendor contracts, terms, and conditions.

Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular vendor performance reviews.

Identify new potential vendors and assess their capabilities and suitability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of vendor products and services.

Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to ensure the company's vendor offerings are competitive.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvements through vendor negotiations and relationships.

Implement vendor management best practices and drive continuous improvement in vendor management processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in vendor management activities.
