Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our Proactive For Her team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct general paediatric consultations for patients, including diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses and injuries.
Administer vaccines according to recommended schedules and guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Develop & implement protocols for paediatric consultations, vaccines administration, and emergency situations, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create training protocols for support staff, including nurses and medical assistants, to ensure they are equipped to assist with paediatric care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families on paediatric health issues, including preventive care, nutrition, and development milestones.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stay current with developments in paediatric medicine, including new treatments, medications, and guidelines, and incorporate best practices into clinical practice.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
Qualifications
Paediatrician MD/DNB from a recognised institute
Active Medical License in Karnataka
Minimum 2 years of experience
Strong clinical skills in paediatric medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
Proficiency in administering vaccines and managing paediatric emergencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development activities
