About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Vice President - Finance and Accounts for a Home Loan Company that primarily addresses the housing finance needs of the self-employed, belonging to low and middle-income families primarily from the semi-urban and rural markets.
Job Purpose
The role covers control over all operational activities of Finance & Accounts which will include Income tax compliance, monitoring the annual accounts, audit completion, and GST Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, Implementing, managing & delivering of all the financial activities of the bank.
Assist the CFO & recommend to the Board an annual operating plan and financial budget.
Ensure to provide strategic recommendations to the board / executive management teams on cost optimization.
Manage the financial processes, forecast, and budget the costs, overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for the bank.
Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and compliance for the bank.
Educational Qualifications And Experience
Chartered Accountant with 15 to 20 years of Experience
Worked with Banks, NBFC, Financial Institutions
Financial data analysis & Interpretation skills
Proactive management of financial data and information
Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
