Mechanical Design Engineer

Designing Kinematics for efficient and precision robotics platform.

Design for manufacturing.

Good knowledge and experience on Geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.

Efficient with CAD platforms like Solidworks, Fusion 360.

Strong theoretical background with manufacturing practices. Also preferable hands on experiences.

Sheet metal Design and Manufacturing Experiences.

Aware of tolerances associated with different manufacturing processes and machines.

Following up with vendors and manufacturers with design files, drawings, part production and quality control.

Strong theoretical background in electromechanical devices and their performances.

Experienced with various prototyping techniques like 3d printing, Laser cutting, CNC machining, Sheet metal fabrication, Sheet metal bending etc.

Roles And Responsibilities

You would be responsible for designing efficient kinematics for precision robotics platforms.

Component selection and design of electromechanical assemblies which can be manufactured and assembled.

Communicating with manufacturers with designs and getting them machined with required tolerances.

Assembling the parts and testing them for required performances.
