BMS OPERATOR

Qualifications And Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in BMS operations

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems and equipment

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting BMS software and hardware

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Roles And Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure the effective functioning of all building systems

Monitor and control HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems through the BMS

Perform regular inspections of building equipment and systems to identify any abnormalities or issues

Respond promptly to alarms and system failures, and take appropriate actions to resolve them

Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors for any repairs or servicing required

Collect and analyze data from the BMS to identify energy-saving opportunities and improve system efficiency

Generate reports on system performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company guidelines

Provide training and guidance to junior BMS operators, as required
