Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience as an STP Operator or in a similar role

Knowledge of sewage treatment processes and equipment

Understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental standards

Ability to operate and maintain various STP system components

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor environments

Valid certification or license related to sewage treatment operations

Roles And Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) system according to established procedures and standards

Monitor and adjust the treatment process parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery

Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions

Keep accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and laboratory test results

Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for required supplies and services

Assist in training and mentoring junior operators

Comply with all safety and environmental regulations

Conduct periodic checks on the quality of treated water

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize plant performance
