Job Overview

We are hiring a Junior Accountant for our Mugalivakkam branch. This is a full-time position with a required experience of 1 to 3 years. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of general accounting principles and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications And Skills

1 to 3 years of experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software

Strong understanding of general accounting principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

Familiarity with accounting regulations and best practices

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, bookkeeping, and record maintenance

Prepare and maintain financial records, including bank statements, invoices, and receipts

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets

Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports

Assist with audits, including gathering necessary documentation and conducting internal audits

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Assist in financial analysis and forecasting

Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members

Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices
