Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mangalore Minerals Pvt Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in our manufacturing facility. Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment.

Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.

Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Attention to detail and a focus on safety.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.

Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and recommend and implement effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.

Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and order replacements as needed.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
