Designation: MEP Engineer Experience: Minimum 4 Years Qualifications: Graduate in Bachelor of Engineering (BE / BTech) Responsibilities:

MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineers are responsible for design and oversee the construction of MEP systems for new buildings or renovations, including HVAC, including firefighting, fire alarm, plumbing, water supply, and electrical works, in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

Support in project cost estimation, perform rate analysis based on SSR (Schedule of Rates), and obtain and evaluate quotations and market prices to ensure cost-effective project execution.

Prepare contract documents and specifications.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Coordinate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflows.

Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.

Analyse data from tests and site observations to troubleshoot issues and inform future designs.

Strong understanding of building codes and standards

Assist in the execution of electrical systems, including DG (Diesel Generator) sets, wiring, cabling, panel installation, earthing, lightning arrestor installation, and maintenance of lighting and machinery.

Write Reports Detailing Project Findings And Recommendations. General Requirements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Relevant experience in effectively supporting project teams

Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques, and processes

Ability to communicate/work with a multi-cultural team of technicians and engineers for projects

Ability to work independently in most circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices

Strong Analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills, organizing and Planning Skills.

Understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and Revit.
