Job Role
Independently handling Mold flow & cooling analysis (simulation) & mold design of big plastic parts like car bumper / Instrument panel
Know how of plastic part quality issues and injection mold process from machining, assembly & trials issues and to take countermeasures in design
Educational: BE / B. Tech in Tooling (Tool and Die Making from TRTC, CITD, etc.), Mechanical/Production.
Post-Graduation: M. Tech (Tool Design) / Post graduate diploma in Tool and Die Design making.
Experience: 2 to 6 years
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning:
Coordination with Customer for project planning, ECN implementation & costing, etc.
CAE (mold Flow Simulation)
Capability to do mold flow analysis and cooling analysis for big plastic car parts like Bumpers & Instrument panels
Capability of providing countermeasures for mold flow issues
Managing closure of all feedback with internal customers
Mold Design
Mold design for big parts like Bumper & Instrument panels
Knowledge of hot runner system in Mold
Able to review Part/product design and injection mold design for issues and take countermeasures in new mold development.
Able to make/review 2D drawings & electrode designs for mold manufacturing Mold manufacturing:
Machining knowledge
Mold assembly & Spotting knowledge
Inspection of mold at various stages of manufacturing
Mold trial issues, defects, and its countermeasures
Knowhow of optimum process parameter setting & cycle time reduction techniques
Competencies/Skills
Good knowledge of software's UG NX, Autodesk Moldflow.
Experience in Automobile OEM industry.
Full time
