Job Overview

We are looking for a Visa Counsellor to join our team at New Image Immigration. As a Visa Counsellor, you will be responsible for assisting students in the visa application process and providing guidance on immigration laws and regulations. This is a full-time position based in Chandigarh, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in visa counselling.

Qualifications And Skills

Should have knowledge of all types of Visa counselling i.e. Work Visa, Study Visa, Tourist Visa..

1 to 3 years of experience in visa counselling.

In-depth knowledge of immigration laws and visa requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing visa applications.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Customer service-oriented approach.

Proficiency in English and local languages.

Familiarity with study abroad programs and educational institutions is a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities

Assist students in the visa application process for studying abroad.

Provide accurate and up-to-date information on immigration laws, visa requirements, and documentation.

Conduct visa application reviews to ensure completeness and compliance with regulations.

Assess students' eligibility for different visa programs and advise on the best options.

Guide students in preparing supporting documents, such as financial statements and letters of recommendation.

Collaborate with educational institutions and visa authorities to expedite the visa application process.

Maintain student records and update the database with visa application statuses.

Handle inquiries and resolve any visa-related issues or concerns.

Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies.

Ensure a smooth transition for students from the visa application phase to their departure for study abroad.

Full time
